If you read the Teacher Stumper series on EnglishSpark.com, you have probably heard of Mr. Maru and Sparky.  They are the characters at the beginning of every Teacher Stumpers article.  They help introduce the grammar point in context.  This week, both of them are joining the social network that everyone is talking about, Twitter.

They will be twittering in simple English.  Any English language learner can follow along and practice their English!

Introducing Mr. Maru, a professor of English at Spark University

Hello everyone!  I'm Mr. Maru.  I'll be tweeting from my account @mr_maru.  If you have any English grammar questions or problems with English please let me know.  I'll be helping students with their English.  I will be helping Sparky a lot.  He needs help with his grammar!  Can you help him, too?

I'll be talking in simple English.  I will try to use easy English, so all learners can understand me.  I hope I can help!

Hello! Some people think a talking dog is a little strange, but I can do it!  I'll be tweeting from my account @sparky_jack.  I will be talking with Mr.Maru on Twitter with @replies.  Please be sure to follow both of us!  Then you can help us.  I will sometimes make English mistakes.  Can you please correct me?  It is really embarrassed. I mean embarrassing.  Try to correct me before Mr.Maru sees it!  I want to meet other English learners, too!
