Google is everything and everywhere on the internet.  There is no doubt that they are the king of the online realm.  So, in your relentless quest to market yourself and be found online, why not create a google profile?  It just makes cents.

Have you ever Googled your name?   Your not very surprised to find that unless your a celebrity you are hard to locate.  There are too many Jason Campbell's for me to pin down myself.  Especially since the Washington Redskin's quarterback and I share the same name. Well now Google has made it easier to find yourself.

Google has recently made Google profiles available.  This allows people to find and connect with you on yet another social media tool.  The best part is that's it's part of the world's largest search engine.  So people don't have to be a member to find you, anyone who uses Google can do it.

It's a very short profile to fill out.  They want the basic information, a url and pictures if you have them, and some contact info.  You can also create groups of people including family, friends, and co-workers.  This can also limit what each group can see of your profile.  One cool feature it has, is that your Flickr profile can be connected to your page.

So this week's homework is to create a Google profile and make it easier for the world to correctly find you online.
