Forvo.com is an online resource that you can record your pronunciation of a word.  It is available in all languages, but the most common is English.  For every recording it records the general area where the person comes from and whether they are male or female.   This is a useful tool to check how words are pronounced in different countries like America, Canada, Australia, or the UK.  It also includes other languages, so often times you can listen to how the word is pronounced in a different language.  This can be used to show how some words like 'schedule' can be pronounced several different ways depending on what area of the world you are from.
